We've all experienced loss over the past year. Every single one of us, to some degree, has lost our freedom of movement. Some of us have been bereaved and denied the usual mourning rituals. Some of us have lost lifestyles we loved. Many of us have lost relationships and/or experienced separation from loved ones. Some of us have had dreams snatched away. Some of us have seen livelihoods dwindle. Some of us have seen our health decline. Some of us have lost our way, our purpose - what's next? We have all missed many things this year.

But... (and it's a big but) what if this year of losses could actually turn out to be the trigger to trust yourself, heal yourself and transform your life?

Become 'The Finder of (your) Lost Things'

When my brother, Christian, went missing in Africa in 2003 I never for one moment thought that I would look back and find gratitude for that single event which shattered my world. But over the course of 17 years I have come to realise that in response to loss we have a choice:

Do I continue as I am, or do I take a different path?

This 8-week course is for those of you who wish to explore a different path - one which will see you find your abilities, harness the power of love and see life (and loss) from an expanded perspective.

We will be covering:

Wk 1  An alternative way of viewing loss

Wk2  Resistance to exploring & how to press on, regardless

Wk3  Your superpower of trust: yourself, the process, your supporters

Wk4  What's missing in me?

Wk5  How to find, and retrieve, your missing pieces

Wk6  Your superpower of healing: yourself and the ripple effect

Wk7  Your superpower of transformation: yourself and your life

Wk8  Tying up the loose ends & unlimited possibilities

  • You will also receive a beautiful paperback copy of our award-winning "Lost & Found: The 8-Pointed Pathway to Healing and Growth After Loss", providing additional support. This will be posted to your UK address on joining the circle (please allow for Christmas disruption of postal services) - if you live outside of the UK, we will send you a PDF copy.

  • You will also receive a poster of Christian's "17 Life Lessons" if you live in the UK.

When? - Itinerary

The circle will officially be opened on Tuesday, 22nd December 2020, with a pre-recorded film, but the circle is open from 15th December, 2020 with daily posts from Hannah. These daily posts will continue throughout the course.

Every Tuesday afternoon, there will be a pre-recorded film added to "The Finder of Lost Things" circle for you to view in your own time. The last film will be posted on 9th February, 2021.

Alongside the weekly film there will be a suggested 'Finder's Focus' for the week ahead - this will be something creative, sometime practical and/or something to try which will unlock something within you to help you along the pathway.

From 7th January 2021, and every Thursday afterwards, I will be hosting a series of 6 live Q&A session via Zoom at 7pm (GMT) which you can attend live, or watch the recording in your own time. If you cannot attend the session, and would like to have a question answered, you can leave your question in the chat area. The final

Speaking of the chat area, this is a place where you can meet and interact with others within the circle and Hannah will be online once a day to answer any queries and chat with whoever's around.

The circle will officially close at 11:59pm on Sunday, 14th February, 2021, but members will have continued access to the films, challenges and the chat area until the energy dissipates.

Who am I?

My name is Hannah Velten - writer, grief healer and radio show / podcast host. I've been a writer/author for over 20 years and never in my wildest dreams thought I'd have the second and third job titles... in fact, I was frightened of anything 'spirit-y'. So, please, if you're feeling nervous, I understand... but, I also know the love and support you find when you gradually (and safely) begin to walk a different and unknown pathway.

The only reason I embarked on my own "Grief Walk" was because of my brother, Christian - my co-host of RAISE.

A little background for you: Christian went missing in Mali, Africa, in 2003, when he was 27 years old. He was on a solo expedition and disappeared without a trace, despite numerous searches, and his sudden loss changed everything. It shattered us. But we had hope.

But even hope dissolved as the years went by. It wasn't until 2018 when the truth was eventually revealed.

By that time, I was spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and physically strong enough to learn that he'd been drugged and drowned. Christian, in his spirit form, was the one to tell me, and show me, what had happened to him.

That obviously sounds so far-fetched that it can't possibly be true, but it's our reality. I always knew that I would find my brother, but I didn't know when or how it would happen. Nor that I would find him in Spirit, rather than in the physical. But... our relationship is stronger than ever.

Brother and sister. Side by side. A bond unbroken by death.

In November 2018, Christian and I made a pact... we would work together to heal and transform grief in the world. I never knew why Christian insisted on having 'the world' focus, but with the grief/loss pandemic surrounding COVID-19, I can now see why.

Where? - RAISE: our online home

"The Finder of Lost Things" circle will be hosted within RAISE. This is our online community bringing together those who are seeking a loving way to transform the pain of grief, so that we can inspire and empower each other to rise, reconnect with our 'lost things', heal and rebirth into a purposeful and joyful life.

RAISE is a meeting point; a space where the physical world meets the non-physical.

In these times of COVID-19, RAISE can step into the vacuum and provide comfort, inspiration and community for those struggling with feelings and thoughts of loss.

The circle is a private one, so no-one outside will have access - this ensures it's a safe and free-sharing space. RAISE is a bit like a Facebook group, but the platform we use to host RAISE is called 'Mighty Networks' (https://www.mightynetworks.com/), which provides a far calmer and more nurturing environment. Christian and I have made this our space and we invite you to join us. When you join "The Finder of Lost Things" circle, you will automatically also have access to the communal areas within RAISE.

RAISE has taken over 18mths of hard work to create (a huge learning curve for Hannah!) and you can access the RAISE via your computer or mobile phone. Hannah has both mobile and computer access. For mobile access, you will need to download the 'Mighty Networks' app onto your phone, but that is the only technical know-how you need to participate. You will be provided with a link to the app when you join the circle.

To join the live Q&As sessions, you will also need to be able to access Zoom, but we're pretty confident that most people will be totally at home 'Zooming' these days!

Investment

We are offering this circle for the first time and, as such, we are building and creating the content as we go. You, as our first 'explorers', will have a great input into how the circle develops and what's included. Obviously, we have a planned route, but as Christian knows only too well the best journeys are the ones which allow for flexibility and further investigation if required.

Hannah will be hosting her new radio show / podcast at the same time as this circle, but this is a necessity. Hannah has been asked so many times in the last few months whether she will offer support during these long winter months, made harder by COVID, and so this circle has been created.

We are inviting 21 people to join us over the 8-weeks.

We are asking for an investment of £550 for those 8-weeks. This can be paid up-front or in three monthly instalments of £195.

This is a significant discount from our intended future pricing, so we would love you to provide us with a video testimonial and/or feedback of your experiences at the close of the circle which we may use for future marketing and planning.
